Playing Soccer August 16, 2006

Today we got out to a village to help a group of people recover from the Tsunami. It was a great time. We helped a family get a water tank set up.  I had the joy of playing soccer with a group of children in the village as well.  Seeing people in their own culture and being able to help them in even a small way was quite a blessing.

Verse for the day: Psalm 16:7-8 “I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. I have set the Lord continually before me.  Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”

Great to blog from somewhere besides home. May you recognize the Lord at your right hand and not be shaken by any seen or unseen presence. Serve Him with all your might. Praying for you.
