Over the last few days I have had the great privilege of attending the Together for the Gospel conference held in Louisville, KY.   I was blessed to be able to attend this conference with two dear pastor friends Joel and Aaron.   We had a great time at the conference and heard some amazing preaching from folks such as C.J. Mahaney, Ligon Duncan, Mark Dever, Al Mohler, John Piper, R.C. Sproul and John MacArthur.

There were several high points throughout the conference. I wanted to highlight a few of them. One, we got to hear a touching address from Matt Chandler, pastor of The Village Church in Dallas, who talked about his recent surgery for a cancerous brain tumor.  Two, Bob Kauflin did a superb job of leading worship and setting the stage for each of the sessions.  It was amazing hearing 7000 folks singing “It is Well With My Soul”, “In Christ Alone”, and “All I Have is Christ.”  Three, each of the attendees of the conference came home with close to 20 free books including an ESV Study Bible.  Quite the blessing!

T4G was far and away the best conference I have ever attended and I am already looking forward to going back in 2012!

Here is an example of the powerful times of worship we were able to experience!

So glad you got to go – must have been a real blessing for you. I am convinced we will all be the recipients of all you saw and heard. Thank you for all you do.
